Cute story.

I tend to over-write . .

Glad you reminded me about social worker month. I should send some donuts up to our APS/CPS workers on pay day.

I hope someone is doing something special for you.

Happy Social Worker's month. I wanted to teach but did not go to college here. My degree fron India gets me only 60 credits and college here is expensive. My friends tell me that I do have a caring heart and if I blog I can help people without realizing. Now writing is cathartic for me.

Liebe Doris,

Happy Social Worker Month to you!

Do you know how to change your blog in order to have the thumbnail shown again? I did do this and it worked right away.

Here we go!

To have the first picture of your blogpost showing as a thumbnail on other blogrolls, you go back into Edit post and click the HTML button, Scroll down until you find the HTML code for the first picture in your post. Within that code you will find, once or twice this:

You need to make a couple of modifications, this is what you want -

http://...ggpht.com....

To RECAP https becomes http:/ / and googleusercontent.com becomes ggpht.com

Love,

Mariette

Social Workers are on strike here in Israel these days. They demand decent wages and working conditions.

Although their value to society is acknowledged by all, still there are a few voices complaining that there are more social workers than workers in general. This is not meant against social workers but meant to imply that there's something wrong about the structure of our society.

Anyway, Happy Social Workers'Month and
Congrats on your story being featured!

I had no idea it was Social Work month! Great to know! Good luck with your 50 word story!!

Thanks for reading my blog. Thank you for being a Social Worker. This world can use people who care for people. Like DUTA says there must be somthing wrong with our society but as long as we acknowledge that and then take care of problems ( again thanks to Social Workers) we have HOPE.

LOL, I SO know that story. I hear it everyday from my grandmother. But I can always tell her I ordered it. :)

BTW, for some reason, again your blog has been put on my do not update list. Apparently Blogger does this at random and I have no control over it, so I apologize for being late.

I just read your 50 word story out loud to my daughter. And we both laughed! Ah, the need for a sense of humor.

What a great service it is to help those who need help. I tell myself this every day when I get impatient with Jen--and she gets impatient with me LOL!!

Hope you're having a good week.

As ever, your friend....
